Just a weird coincidence, nothing more
Chess.com Punishment tactics for rating increases
This is common with lichess as well, but why is it that whenever I achieve rating increases chess.com temporarily blocks my IP address from connecting to their servers, and then causes my whole computer to be disconnected from the internet. I have been trying to figure out why my internet disconnects after my chess.com rating increases. I have tried to find any issues associated with my wifi, but it keeps only disconnecting around the same time I play chess on chess.com and sometimes lichess. This is one of the reasons why I am not a fan of how these websites are run, and the fact that chess.com will punish you for gaining meaningless internet chess points.
But your ratings haven't really changed for six months.

lmao what, do you think the fbi wants to stop you from becoming a chess genius so they block your home internet? also what #3 said
