chess.com unfair time increament

i usually play the classic time of 10mins.. however many times i play faster than most of my opponents but its like my time is deducted 5s for my opponents 1s... then at the end game when my opponents are clear 0 sec on thr clock like magic boom the chess com gives 9 secs more.am confused

Yeah, Mr. Bacon is correct here.

You see your clock is COUNTING the right time, but it may not be SHOWING it.
