In my opinion, I like playing Lichess more because you can do it without being distracted by the social, however, it is also a more boring there then, of course. Another problem with Lichess is that barely anyone there plays at +2300 Rapid or Classic and you don't get an opponent for a long time, which is different here.
chess.com vs lichess?

personally, chess.com is great for socializing, but on the chess side of things lichess is way better. lichess gives you a lot more space to study, with no paywalls, it's definitely a lot better to improve your game. i used to have premium, but now it doesnt make sense anymore. lichess is better for puzzles, learning, tactics, etc, and just a better game system. chess.com has better socialization, but to be honest, who needs that in a chess website? especially if the kids cant keep a club alive for 3 days. this is why i barely play seriously on here anymore, and nowadays i just keep popping up on lichess when i have free time. anyways, lichess >>>
