I watch a bit.
I know Daniel Negreanu from the world series of poker, which I was watching back in 2018. So, sure, obviously the moves are not very good, but it's fun from a sporting perspective.
And honestly n00bs are a lot better than you might think. They'll play a few GM level moves, then a few blunders, then a few GM level moves again 
Sure by the end of the game they've blundered multiple pieces, but it's still fun.
