Chess Ebooks

I thought I'm going to throw it out there, because maybe others will find this info as useful as I did.  A while ago I was looking for some chess books to improve my rating.  I found a few titles that were recommended, but I was in such a hurry to read them, I didn't want to wait for shipping, so instead I opted to buy them in eBook form.

It turns out, that method worked out much better than I expected, because the eBooks came in CBH format, so not only was I able to read them on my computer right away, but all the chess positions, examples, and excercises included in the books were displayed on the chessboard, with annotations, and the ability to step through them.  I used free version of ChessBase to read the books.  Here's where you can get them:

I find that method of study served me much better than simply reading a text, because I don't have to waste time setting up positions, and follow the moves and variations.  I can focus on the topic at hand instead.

You can order all the Everyman Chess books as eBooks directly from the Everyman Chess website. Ordering them directly gives you certain advantages (sneak previews of new books and discounts... granted very small discounts).

I agree with eternal21's opinion. Ebooks have been extremely helpful to me for more than a decade. They are great if you search for something. That is why I decided to publish and retail ebooks (see my shop http://www.lybrary.com/).

We do offer close to 100 chess ebooks including the Everyman Chess ebooks in ChessBase format as well as other ebooks in PDF. For a full list go here http://www.lybrary.com/games-chess-c-23_24.html
