This sounds like a cool movie plot...
except I'd probably say "promises were broken" instead of people broke promises. Then it will really draw people in. Maybe change some of the names too. Doesn't even have to be about chess, I like it.
And as for your lack of vacation time... its a shame that your* computer program designed by you and your team (I'm sure you referenced them in the past) could not be piloted by one of your friends/helpers while you were away on vacation. Of course if you let someone else do that then I guess it would be like you weren't really playing at all, huh?

ATOMICCHICKEN, webgogs and I have an understanding. Think of us as a TEAM. I may not hold the name webgogs in my stable of usernames, but the name is a puppet controlled by none other than ME. If you carefully analyzed the vote chess game, it was cheater_1 vs. webgogs. That's all it was...and it was by design. I've done many such an exhibition game in the past where I played BOTH sides. It is true, I am UNMATEABLE. In 10+ years I have never been checkmated by anyone or anything when I am cheating. I lost many times on time or on games that were fixed, as our vote chess game was. IT WAS MADE PERFECTLY clear by ERIK that vote chess games WERE NOT subject to vacation time. I had a vacation planned months in advance, and ERIK ASSumed that it wouldnt last that long (it did), and seeing I had only ME on the team (not like the 900+ players team chess.com had), I didnt have the luxury of leaving the game. I was FORCED to play on without being allowed a vacation period. I lost interest in the game. I gave up. I wanted it over. I ended it on MY terms. I had to end it because I was leaving in two days for California. I was BULLIED into resigning otherwise lose the cheater_1 name. I was hogtied by this site and then spit on and ridiculed. How do you think that made me feel. It was a set up from day one.
Once again, if I ignored your questions, it was because it didnt merit a response. No offense intended, it just wasnt worth my time typing a response.
By the way, STICK TO THE TOPIC. CHESS IS NOT AN OLYMPIC SANCTIONED EVENT....it is a board game.
