Why some of the best player of chess come from poverty?

Didn't realize they did.  But some possible reasons:  Lots of time to learn chess in prison, it's cheap and readily available.

All of the best players come from all strata of society.

...well without all the things that usually distract the rich folk us poor people have to make with what we have. No way im spending 500 on a console. Its irresponsable. Thats months worth of food. However chess, is super more challenging and free.

The OP didn't say anything about homelessness, he mentioned poverty.  It is possible to be poor without being homeless.

Coz they're streetwise.  That covers a lot of ground in life.  Won't get you a job though.
