Chess Informant

Do any of you go through Chess Informant? I find it to be a bit esoteric and not good for practical purposes.

I don't go through them any more myself, but maybe that's just me.

Prior to computer databases, Chess Informants were invaluable for serious players. (Tournament players, masters, GMs, etc.).  But I don't think that's the case anymore.  Today's digital files and digital databases are able to offer the same thing, but in a more accessible format.
