Chess is Inherently Racist Chess.com has to help solve

how is it dumb to point out racism when I see it?
I am doing my part in trying to make the world a more inclusive and welcoming place
There have been less than ten black grandmasters in history, and you're trying to tell me that this is okay??? Chess.com should take steps to promote diversity in the chess community by giving advantages to members of specific communities to finally get the race balance we need at the highest level. I am proposing knight odds or equivalent for everyone who puts Black as their race into chess.com. We must actively acknowledge past discrimination and make amends. What are your thoughts on this?
Winning when you have been given an extra piece in an odds game isn't going to make you a better player all of a sudden. What is giving odds in favour of black people going to achieve other than patronise them?

You are correct @taseredbirdinstinct Except there is already a discrimination affecting black players. I don't see the need to favour them because they are lacking in GMs. Favouring black players is also racism in itself.

How is there discrimination against black players?

Giving knight odds to Black players actually insults them, because they feel that they can't win without extra help.

Agreed. This thread is silly anyway.

FIDE just needs to set gm qualifications by race. They do that for women, why not race?
The Olympics doesn't set time qualifications by race, and there is one race that dominates the running events.

Setting separate tournaments for race is silly because each country already has its own tournament.
Who cares unless it is to benefit a poor minority in the USA?
Black people aren't a minority.

You're not funny, Bro.
Just not funny.
Anyone can see, this is a blatant attack on black people. Using "Reverse Psychology."
I still think you're a Liberal though. They are always this unclever.

I hope your not right, but I think there's a chance that you are. The person who made this thread hasn't written anything particularly interesting or clever, sounds like attention seeking to me.
