I’ve been playing for years on different accounts, platforms and more, and I’ve noticed… this game is so odd so many combinations nearly infinite setups and even more possibilities. All my life I’ve never seen such a simple yet elegantly complex and beautiful game I’m not great at the game itself but I don’t dedicate hours too it, it’s been around for forever and it’s charmed people for hundreds of years it’s been decades since an update yet it hasn’t stopped being popular with anyone from ages 4+ it fascinates the thinkers of the world, I both love and hate this game so much but it’s so hard not to stop playing
Odd? Yes. Terrible? Also yes. Elegant? No. I refuse to believe chess is an elegant game. It's not even beautiful, it's ugly. Sorry, but I just don't agree with anything you said yes there's a lot of combinations but this doesn't make a game good.

#3 are you sure just aren’t salty because you lose a lot? It isn’t chess that makes you 300 Elo it’s your skill in the game itself

The complexity is a beautiful mess IMO. We play a game we don't truly understand. And yet we think it makes us intelligent.
