Congrats man! I remember the first time I beat my grandpa (patriarch chess player) and he gave me a set he had been holding for me that he wouldn't give me until I won.
My grandpa and I aren't nearly the level you're on, but I remember he had pawns on f7, g7, and h7 and a king on g8. I slid a rook down the back line and won.
Seriously if I were you I'd write down everything you can about what you remember and give it to your kid/grandkid when they beat you =)

I just played a wonderful game with the patriarch of my family and beat him twice he let me be the white pieces twice so idk if he would have beat me as white but anywho i gained a lot of respect from him because nobody in this family ever beats him, It was a clasic game full of guardes and checks very exciting i wish i would have wrote the games down but i played the italian game and the second game he played the caro kann does anyone else have a story like this
