46th INTERNET based FIDE ARBITERS’ SEMINAR
The Chess IQ Academy is going to organize an Internet Based FIDE Arbiters' Seminar, on 6, 7 and 13 February 2016, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer and Technical Organizer will be IA Sevan Muradian (USA), FIDE Lecturer. Assistant Lecturer will be IA Kenneth Ballou (USA).
The lectures will be in English language.
The Seminar will give FIDE Arbiter norms and titles, according to the Regulations for the titles of the Arbiters.

Under Patronage of Eng. Khaled Abdel Aziz, Minister of Youth & Sports, the Egyptian Chess Federation is pleased to invite you to participate in the EGYPT Chess Open 2016, which will be held from 21st - 30th April 2016 at the at Shooting Club & El Gezira Youth Center in Cairo.
The tournament is open to all Fide-rated players with a standard rating of 1000 and above (as of 1st April 2016) – Online ratings & titles are not accepted. Last day of registration & payment is 17th April 2016.
The playing format is 9-Rounds Swiss System, Time Control: 90 minutes + 30 seconds increment per move for the whole game.
The total prize fund of the tournament is 80,000 L.E. , which is more than US $ 10,000. The winner will take L.E. 12,000 + Cup.
