Chess Puzzles dont help

I dont know maybe it's just me. But chess puzzles don't really help me get better in the game i do them everyday but they are just too easy sometimes. So i switched to play against computer on level 8 and since then my game just keeps improving. I moved from 600-800 to 1000-1200pts and i hold it there since 2 weeks now. I dont know what are your thoughts on it? Any other solutions to get better? The comp on lvl8 is still pretty though and i 90% lose my games but if i go down to lvl6 or lvl7 i pretty much win against computer.
Oh also i noticed that whenever i get to play against stronger players or watch stronger players play i get better. How can i get stronger players to play with me. I would love to lose many many games against really good players.

try to get your puzzle rating a little higher ans then see if the puzzles still are too easy. Yes, you learn a lot doing puzzles if you take your time to understand them.
I agree with the chess puzzles- or- maybe I am too new to understand their value; they seems like tactics trainer problems except one can play every move without penalty
Nevertheless, there is a forum tab just on the puzzles so I wouldn't doubt there is something I am totally overlooking regarding the puzzles (like everything else in chess)
As for playing higher rated players you can customize your game searches to include higher ratings
-25 to no limit (as an example)

Check out the chess tactics at chesstempo.com. An unlimited amount are allowed, it brings the quality of the problems up to your level much faster, and it has much better comment and tags support to help you categorize and remember the tactics.
5 chess puzzles/day may not help, especially at chess.com where even with a paid account it takes a LONG time before you start getting challenging problems.
