i feel the opposite, people at my level are way too high rated including myself.

Am i the only one feeling that 1800 or 1700 rated player is far way better in terms of accuracy than they used to be?? They're playing with an average of 80 to 90 accuracy!!, nowadays i feel that every player i have faced must be rated higher than his current elo rating!
