Chess, School, and Work

Can chess interfere with normal routine daily activities that each and every one of us are engaged in to earn a living, perform well at school, or carry out work nearly as required?

If yes, is there any research or reference, ideas, or any thing relating to this forum topic is highly appreciated.......

I read about that chess improves school work earlier on.

Students who are involved in Chess are also good at academics. Then, how about at work generally?

I also watched about a documentry about a randomly pre-assigned volunteer participants evaluated for their intellectual ability, hold on, if you need the documentry film"battle of the brains" produced by the BBC and Horizon together. You can enjoy watching that film.

Good luck and at least say some thing about this please :)

Personally I would say that school and work interferes with chess! I've often found that work interferes with a lot of things actually.
