I recently thought it’d be a good idea to make a study plan to get more consistent results with chess. I’ll let you guys decide if it’s good and if you have any ideas feel free to share.

4 times a week:

-Play 2 30m increment games

-Analyse said chess games

-Read 2-4 pages of the book „100 endgames you must know“

2 times a week on the weekend

-Play 4 games with 30m increment

-Analyse said chess games

- solve some puzzles

-Read 2-4 pages of the book „100 endgames you must know“

Honestly? Study plans should always be unique to the individual and their needs. I don’t know your time and specific chess goals. I also don’t know your learning style, or what methods will work best for you. I like your idea of playing 30 min rapid chess (with some increment) and analyzing those games afterwards.

It looks like a good study plan to start with, but make sure you feel the freedom to adjust to better fit your needs after trying it for a while. Sometimes plans work best when adjusted slightly.

Study → Practice → Fix → Repeat

This is the framework I use with students I coach.
