You can only keep pressure and press the attack if the position allows it. Trying to do that when the position doesn't allow it will surely backfire against good opposition.
I would suggest forgetting about questions of style for a while (maybe forever), and focusing initially on tactics training combined with some good instructive anthologies like Chernev's Logical Chess: Move by Move.
I also recommend Dan Heisman's chess columns, starting with the one named "The Secrets to 'Real' Chess" (on that page).
Perhaps all of you can help me,
What kind of style of chess will allow me to keep pressure and keep the attack on the opponent at all times? Even in times where I am forced on the defensive, i want to be able to keep the attack on my opponent as well. How do I go about doing this?
p.s. i think my strongest human opponent is starting to chime into my playing style, so i would like to develop an attacking style
