I sincerely hope the Stockfish team will try to include all those important features it lacks before version 9 is released.

As you may have noticed (and if you didn't there is obviously something wrong with you) I have not been as active as usual recently. Several circumstances, which include boredom, journeys and boredom, kept me busy. But all that time was not wasted in vain. Along with reading some useless yet interesting books that will help me become even more of a pedant, I rediscovered that good old game called Chess Titans. It might be the first time Windows Vista has made my life better (but don't worry for me, I'm currently not using it)
After several victories at the easiest levels, I started to wonder how Chess Titans would face against today's engines. Stockfish seemed like a good rival, because... it's free.
I had great expectations about the match, but the results were disappointing. They were terribly one-sided, as you can see in this long yet incomplete list:
-Chess Titans doesn't need a GUI to start working, it already comes with one. Unlike the fish.
-Chess Titans' plays an awesome music when you move a piece.
-Playing against Chess Titans is less depressing than playing against Stockfish.
-Chess Titans allows you to save a position (let's say, one move before you mate level 10) and then you can open it as many times as you want to play that position. So you get nice statistics against level 10.
-Chess Titans comes preinstalled with everyone's favourite Windows. And, as every Internet Explorer user knows, preinstalled trash is always better.
