Chess tourism

Is there such a thing as "chess tourism"? Perhaps as a part of sport tourism?

If so, what is the value/earnings of chess as a tourism product?

I would have figured so myself.

As a student of tourism and hospitality, I was wondering if the whole international "chess industry" contributed significantly to the tourism product, e.g. from hotel occupancy for major tournaments, people traveling to tournaments and such the like.
