Chess Variant Diagrams.

These variants aren't meant to suggest a "new chess" or whatever sillyness may be infered, it's just some varaints I would like to play at least one game of, if they were so rediculously flawed that it drew all the fun out, then never again obviously.  Hopefully no one will mock or insult these, it's all in fun, and I hope someone will post some variants they would like to play, and comments on mine and others. The Greatest Chess variant however, in my opinion is Chess960, certainly look it up if you're not familiar.

This First variant could be played on any real board using the pawns as knights.  I think it would produce some very strange situations, and maybe even be practice for working with your knights.

It would take alot of examining to really begin some nature of a strategy. I wonder if white's advantage would increase here at all.

This particular variation I kindof thought of when considering an older style warfare.  The structure of the second (or first... the one closest to the center) could be altered obviously(since it doesn't exist normally anyway.)  But this wold force a opening pawn battle, or selecting of pawn structures(which would alter completely the way you intend to open your minor pieces. This makes me think that first there would have to be a pawn battle, then a forced minor piece battle, with the exception of the queen occasionally, and then a battle with the rooks.  Obviously this is the case currently, but this would force it a bit more.

I have some vague Idea for a 2, and maybe 4 board chess variant that would involve more than the typical amount of pieces.(More of a 16x16 board, not 4 seperate.)  I'd like to hear any thoughts on this too.
