Chess without Americans

Would chess.com ban the American flag were it to invade Iraq - to name but one country - tomorrow? And I'm sure there is one country "beyond blame" that could do anything to anyone and claim it is the eternal "victim".
I have no problem whatsoever with the many fine Americans I play here...
But...any country is going to be partisan towards its PERCEIVED national interest. Truth is, American foreign policy is not even amicable to anyone other than the corporate elites and those who form the boundaries of "polite discourse" for platforms like this...

The United States of America has always been the champion and world leader in truth, justice, and freedoms for all people. It is sad that there are still countries in the world where their citizens have to deal tyranny and unfair situations. Everyone knows and would agree that the United States is the greatest country in the world and the solar system. Let's hear it for the United States of America!!!! USA! USA! USA! 🇺🇸 👏 😀 😉 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
Epically inaccurate...or clever trolling.

@epicdraw used to be until about 30 years ago but now not so much. Bipartisanship has disappeared and there is so much tribalism and warring between the two main parties that it is impossible to get anything done. I joined the Libertarian party out of disgust but no one takes them seriously. And the healthcare system sucks. We are the richest nation in the world and the government lets tens of millions go without coverage, it is really sickening.

the... second biggest (to chess.com) chess website isnt owned by americans
but apparently their forum service is even worse; which is probably the exact reason you are asking this question so...

You weren't muted for that.

Pros and cons, make up your mind. From Internet....
"Lichess is better for reasons such as better/quicker analysis, free puzzles and the studying resources. The only upside to chess.com is it's chess learning videos, rating system, and the bots to play against. But you can't beat free and if you're 2000+ Lichess is clearly the better site."
Any chess site where I can play that is not owned by Americans? Used to play on Chess24 but after merging it is terrible there. I miss Jan Gustafson and company to commentate on events. LiChess maybe?
