Yeah, but what does this have to do with pumpkin eating? I was hoping for a new recipe.
Chess youtubers busted for pumpkin eating

You Tubers Pumpkin Eatin Ale
3.5 KG pale malt
1 kg Munich Malt
500g What Malt
100g special B
I large Pumpkin (ask GJ_Chess or Kevin from thechesswebsite where they got theirs) DO NOT EAT! Roast for one hour, chop into chunks an add to grain!

Are their pants also on fire?
more roasty toasty than eating roast pumpkin on St. Roastday near Roastingham

They are two of possibly the most popular channels ever.

Are you saying both youtubers have copied each others presentation style and content? That's probably not a big infraction if that is the case, given that we all have to do our own work to improve anyways. Am I right about that? Or maybe I'm not understanding what the infraction is. I was confused by the term "pumpkin eating." I'm just a little confused here, I guess. I've seen these channels but I don't watch them much anyways. I prefer Kingscrusher, Matojelic, and a few others. I like your videos, too. they're cool.

I think the consensus is that GJ_Chess plagiarised content from the Foxy chess video series and presented it as his own without giving credit. However that's an entirely different issue from why he was banned form chess dot com. 'Pumpkin eating', is an American colloquialism and rhyming slang for cheating. Both their accounts have been closed for abusing fair play or in other words cheating.

Because we have to doublespeak to avoid those crude filters and snitches of chess.com. Censorship.
(What's this with your flag @robbie_1969? Panama is also a participant at the Russian circus for the plebs? Have successfully avoided watching any matches so far.)
Being Scottish I support everyone that plays against England. Its a matter of national concern that England lose and exit the tournament as early as possible. Yes its a circus and yes its for plebs but despite that I enjoy watching football if the game is interesting, its often much like a chess game where he who deploys the best strategy usually wins. Mexico for example tactically outshone Germany. Get yourself into a cafe, order a Belgian Dubbel and get into it leaving any snobbery aside.

I'm almost 46 y. o. and there were a couple of teachers telling us "any Spaniard worthy of the name should pee towards England" in elementary school.

Like pubs without commercial TV and radio. Preferably smoking.
Just watching the cat named @cottonsock licking his balls.
smoking? please its way bad for your health but you know that already, beer at least is healthy.

As sound advice as I read on these forums. Sadly we are too concerned with political correctness to pee in anyones direction these days. We really did have peeing contests when we were younger!
It was brought to my attention that two of the most popular youtubers who produce chess related content have been busted for pumpkin eating, namely @GJ_Chess and @thechesswebsite. The formers presentation style I really liked although the content was probably simply plagiarised and regurgitated, the latter I never really liked, it was simply a front for a business selling Grandmaster opening videos that would not add a single rating point to your game even if you watched them everyday for a thousand years. Now both have been busted.
Both of these channels have a huge amount of followers, 102,000 in the the case of GJ_Chess and 247.000 in the case of thechesswebsite.
One could of course moralise over the dastardliness of it all but that would accomplish very little. What they have done is irreparable damage to their reputations by their own hand and probably denied themselves much of the joy and sorrow of chess, that of working out plans and ideas and seeing your strategy take shape and reach fruition or disaster as the case may be. One could speculate why they did it but its only conjecture at best. Probably when you have a big following people expect big results and its realpolitik, chess devoid of ethics, anything to win.
