Anyone have an idea if this is indeed the case?

It's truly amazing if this is the case. Especially considering that it seems to be NO PROBLEM for Chess Assistant to memorize window sizes and they never crash either.......at least not on my Win7 system.
Not so with Chessbase.
Needless to say I'm disapointed in my purchase - have been using CA for a while and I don't see any reason to spend the extra to get CB.......too late now but keep that in mind if there is someone out there wanting to get CB.
Also if you are a member of sites like this one or Chess Tempo you really don't need any of these things.
They say it's quicker and better to keep the database on your computer because you can always access it, and that may be true up to a certain point. I do like the idea that I have access to a huge, and always updated chess database, on the websites like CT just through my ipad.
So that's a bonus too.
Anyways.......

New to chessbase and wanted to ask, is it really impossible to save the sizes on all those windows you are constantly having to open?
On the main play window - and the others - I've gone to view>save layout and it's a completley useless feature as next time I need to relaunch a new window it comes out maximized.
These default window sizes are just wayyyy too large on my 30 inch monitor.
