Has anyone beaten the chess.com computer at level 10? Im 0 for 3 attempts. If you have, send me the game notation, please.

You're doing well. I'm 0 wins for about 50 attempts. Would you settle for a draw?

P.S.--

This guy (mikep1623) says he commonly beats it on the Hard level, which I believe is the same as Level 10:

Since nobody else responded to this post, here are my (only) two draws against Computer Level 10:

As far as I know, Level 5 is rated about 1200. You should practice against that.

i would personally not suggest playing the computer if you have human options - computers are impervious to pressure and are tactical gods, they only give up positions when they feel like it - normal humans play differently, make mistakes just like you prob do etc. - its okay to play the computer here and there, esp to train specific positions, but i dont think it develops a proper game to play against other humans

You can't rate the computer like that. In correspondence it might be 1800 in blitz maybe 3000. All depends on the time control

I've beaten Level 9 (~2000 rated) multiple times but I have never beaten or even drawn Level 10 yet.

I just played Computer Level 9 again and won, although it was not easy.

My son who's 9 years old has beaten level 10 a couple of times and drawn it many times. He has been playing on chess.com for the last couple of months(Earlier he used to play on a Tab based software). In the local tournaments, he gets beaten by kids rated 1200 and above. I don't think Chess.com level 10 is all that high. Alternatively, maybe my kid has figured out some hacks on how the computer plays some repeated move/patterns or something.

I found out that it has a very good opening book and plays accurately in that respect. Compared to Class A and B level players that I have played this engine is way stronger, so I would expect it to play at >2000 at least. What system was your 9 year old son using to play against the engine? Was it on a phone or desktop computer? I think that the setup affects the playing strength greatly.
