You're welcome.
Chess.com needs more good-hearted thread re-railers
Well put. I think the best excuse for me is the limited hours spent here at Chess.com. It takes majority of my chess time to carry out administrating of teams and to pay attention to people worthy of it. And i must say i'm very lucky to have met ALOT of people falling into that category. Sometimes i feel frustrated as i would love to do more both of the activities mentioned.. =/
I've been a member for a while. I play every once and a while. I do the daily puzzle almost every day. I read the articles and use the learning tools more than anything. But, I very rarily post and this is exactly why.
While I read the forums when I get on, the few times I have posted I'm either talked down to or berated for my low rating. One time, I made a comment that had a typo in it about moving a knight. I hit the wrong number on accident and the move I suggested was not a valid move. Instead of anything productive, people made fun of me.
I get it. I make typos sometimes. I'm not the strongest player. And because of that, I don't post. I'd say there are more like me. The general attitude on the forums probably keeps some from contributing. Maybe that's what some people on here want. If so, you got it. Good for all of you who make fun of people and look for any way to be sarcastic and put people down.
Good post, thanks for the topic.

Too many people are callous, indifferent and derailing or casting aside wayward threads like they are nothing. When are kind-hearted decent people going to start bringing threads back to life and help them live out their full potential with dignity?
