The death of Daniel Freeman, cofounder and chief programmer of chessgames.com, was announced earlier today. I gather there’s some disruption to the site related to that. Apparently he was 51 and this seems completely unexpected. Very sad.
I'm very sorry to hear of Daniel Freeman's death.
Anyone know what has happened to the ChessGames.com site? It was apparently not being updated for the last few days (except by members) and is now unavailable.
