even i am 8 chesskid has almost no features. the 4 player chess and the forums is all I do each day

my younger brother is 1300 on chesskid but hasn't broken 800 on chess.com yet. Conversely I am a 1600 on chesskid, not much higher than my brother, but here I am 2300.

Chesskid has chess... doesn't it? The lack of communication with strangers is it's main purpose, children under 13 really shouldn't be posting or reading online forums in my opinion.
I disagree kids like me that do home school and don't have a phone can't be with people that like what they like. chess.com has one of the best group of people to talk to

Personally I don't care whether or not kids use the forums. My problem lies in the part when they use the forums like a chat room with spam threads like "hi" or "chess" or "how are you today"

Well... I think one is geared towards adults and the others, obviously, for children. So yeah, I appreciate the in-depth lessons, puzzles, games, people b/c I am an adult haha. Though, really, I think chesskid is just geared towards kid's learning for the first time. There's no reason why a skilled child shouldn't be on chess.com.
