It has been years since chessmaster XI was released. Why doesn't Ubisoft relase a new version which accepts UCI engines and allows multiple time controls.

Because Ubisoft is in business to make money and they are making plenty of money without Chessmaster.

Also they've lost the rights to some of the educational content, or so I've read.  The name is still worth something though.  Surprised they don't sell it.
