As far as I'm concerned, he hasn't been posting for long and doesn't have a huge following, despite being a CM. And that's quite a shame, seeing as he has some pretty good stuff.
Although most of his videos show him destroying amateur-level players quickly and concisely, his videos are still very helpful, informative, and interesting. In his games, he shows great ways to counter various openings, in addition to explaining his moves and the positions very clearly, as well as the reasonings for his and/or his opponent's moves.
Akeem is the perfect balance of calm, helpful, and genuine. He's easy to follow along with and the tactics he plays in-game are things that would be very good for beginners to know. He also doesn't "conveniently" omit/ignore the correct moves in certain positions when his opponent messes up, which is (unfortunately) a big plus.
Finally, an upside of his playing against amateurs is that he often shows common mistakes and how to brutally punish your opponents. I never thought I'd learn this much from a couple of short videos. (But I'll probably forget them when I start a game.)
I'm surprised that he hasn't gotten a bigger audience (yet). He really deserves it.
