Competition on ICC

Players formerly rated 1900on the “old” ICC are now 1500. I was 1600 + and now trying to hold 1400s. Players are fast- I’ll have 30 seconds left in a rapid game, my opponent still has 17 minutes. Full disclosure: I’m 79 and no blitz player.
My take: it’s a free site, and very bright young kids are flocking to it. Tough competition. Anyone else playing there?

Hmm. ICC was always a subscription site. From what I have heard, it is now only a shadow of its former self.

It is free now?
