Computer analysis during computer analysis

When I finish a game, I almost always examine the game using the Computer Analysis feature.
Then I choose a quick analysis, wait till it finish and follow the game.
Now, when I encounter another variant myself, I mean, not a situation shown by the computer analysis, so that I start making moves in both sides, I would expect the computer analysis should be turn on, the exact same way that it behave during self analysis, showing two-three lines of variants for the position.
It does not behave that way.
When I enter moves myself, I don't receive any computer analysis.
Isn't this desirable?
