It would obviously be cheating to use a computer to suggest a move in correspondence chess. But what about having a computer analyse a position after you have sent a move? By that I mean, chose a move on your own, submit it so you can not take it back, and then see what the computer thinks about the position prior to the move you made? Obviously, you are still playing your own moves, but might the computer information cause you to think about the position in new ways? Maybe you missed something strong that might not be so bad next turn as well? My sense is that this would probably be "cheating", but I wondered if there were any hard rules on this.
