So i’ll start with a couple:


I sometimes write the knight notation with a K


Im guilty of playing the move that looks more beautiful than the best move sometimes


Sometimes I cannot resist en passant even if its bad.


I sometimes see that at the end of a variation im losing and yet i go for it “hoping they dont see it”


Going into dangerous positions blindly and hoping i survive lmao

this is one of the more crazy ones imo

I always like to promote to the weakest possible piece that is still winning. I often make rooks instead of queens.

I inverse the notation quite a lot by mistake

So for example calling it g6 instead of g3

My opponents are always confused afterwards

Oh another thing, I always say bless you when my opponent sneezes OTB

Which doesn't sound like a weird thing but the fact that I get ignored 90% of the time prolly means it's weird

And I am used to play the wrong move and realising the best move in the last split second 😭😭 ALWAYS 
And I can't resist to sacrifice even if it is clearly a blunder 😭

I always write the moves wrong otb and I have to correct them by looking at my opponent's sheet. I've been playing otb for three years and I still forget to write moves sometimes ;-;

I'm guilty of not knowing the Lucena or Philidor endings. I always have to look them up whenever someone mentions them. And I probably misplay them all the time, too.

same, when I get those positions I just calculate a bunch, I can't remember anything.

I once had an opponent who kept yawning but he would open his mouth, not even cover it, and breath right at me. I couldn't focus.
