Confused

I'm confused,  I played someone in a 30 min match, the first game I won convincingly and he wanted a rematch so I obliged.

The second game was more difficult but at the end I had 5 pawns, a queen and rook,  and he had 4 pawns and a bishop, he ran out of time but I didn't get the win, is something glitched?

once the match ended I didn't get a pop up saying my new rating or I won and when I check the stats it shows I'm 1-0 against him instead of 2-0

It didn't offer the usual pop up to play a new game  it just stopped on that last move and nothing else happens

jtucker521,

I just had the same thing happen today too. If you check JavaScript/game archive it shows that I won; but when I finished nothing popped up (no checkmate recognition, no rematch option etc. - at first I thought my computer screen froze).

I think it is just a chess.com glitch or bug. I played several games today, but this only happened to me once. I am sure chess.com will fix the cause soon.

I am not sure of that.

notmtwain,

believe what you want to believe.

This same experience that happened to jtucker 521 occurred to me too; do you have another reasonable explanation, other than a glitch/bug? Furthermore, I am curious: did this incident occur to you as well, or are you just speaking without ethos or basis? I really would like to hear what you think it is - if the cause was not a temporary glitch/bug; I am sure chess.com will reliably get on it (if not solved already).
