Winning is so........ Bobby Fischer
Constantly resigning before winning

"Sandbagging" perhaps? Judging by his frequent resignations on winning positions I can't make any other conclusion.
He does seem to be a decent player who is going for the lowest rating he can get. I can't imagine a reason for this, not on Chess.com.

what if he accidentally pressed it? once my computer lagged and I got mad and started clicking over and over but it turned out my mouse went to the resign button.

As the originator of this thread and playing through many of his games I now believe it's a measure of the players personality. Like a cat that toys with a mouse until the mouse turns over and accepts it's fate. Then the cat lets him go.......
Maybe,he is curious " how many games you can tank before you fall off the chess ranking "map"
I know - I'll invite him over for a comment. I'd love to hear his side of the story. There must be one.

I know how it is bitter to lose.
If the opponent does not give up in a losing position,
so very not want to lose.
Don't want to upset people.
After that, some offer friendship.
Friendship is more expensive than the victory.
For me communication is more important rating.
Through chess communicate with players from all over the world.
In tournaments do not participate.
Saw a rating of less than 500.
How is it possible?
Chess is a game.
Play how I like it.
Who does not like, as I play.
Don't play with me...

How true are your words MarkBlackLove. How many people LIKE ME stay in a lost position for too long hoping for an "accidental key stroke mistake" or "refusing to give up a truly lost position".
"Friendship is more expensive than the victory" . What a great sentence.
When I looked at my win/win/win after a sequence of 3 games all that happened was I got paranoid about playing a higher ranked player so as to protect a winning sequence.
Now I appreciate the losses against higher and lower ranked players rather than just leaving the site............

Intentionally losing is against the rules of the site, though:

Am I missing something ??Is there a new fad in chess today to reverse your rating by constantly resigning just before winning (ala MarkBlackLove). Is there some kind of joy in knowing your opponent is beaten then giving him the win.
Human nature still baffles me........
