If time affects your nerves like that in a mere Rapid game (a 30-minute time control at that), then the best advice for you is don't play any Blitz or especially Bullet games...you will incur an anxiety attack for sure...🙄🙄

Hi all. I'm sure others have struggled with this issue, so I'd like to hear from you! I just finished a Rapid 30 min. game; it reminded me why I've mainly stuck to Daily matches. As I was making my moves, I was rather distraught with how I was playing: sometimes wondering if I moved too quickly and should have analyzed the position longer, overthinking simpler ones, realizing that I might have missed an opportunity or given an opportunity to my opponent... I was surprised when the game ended and the review said I did alright for my standards. I thought I had done rather poorly and gotten lucky more than anything.
I've really enjoyed Daily matches as it feels so chill. But I can tell I would enjoy the somewhat faster-paced games if I could calm my anxiety about them. Any tips? Or is this something that experience will remedy (I'm still relatively new to the game)?
Thank you to any and all feedback. <3
