coordinates colors

the coordinates colors seem to be only in a gold brownish color. sometimes that contrast gets lost with the chessboard color. I was looking for a way to change it to either white or black so that I could have an easier time seeing the coordinates against the square. is there any way to change that coordinates color to something other than that goldish brown that it is? thank you in advance...¯\(º_o)/¯

Coordinates match the board colors. On dark squares the light square color is used and on light squares the dark square color is used.
They disappear on some board colors. They need some attention...
