Don't forget that 1. Nf3 will score higher, as will 1. c4, because there are fewer who play them and both are very transpositional, so that opening knowledge becomes very important and that will up the results in practice.

I don't know about 1. Nf3 but with 1. c4 it's possible to channel every possible reaction by black towards a line you like which also contains positional traps. I know that because I played 1. c4 for several years.

I swapped to 1. Nf3 for a year and then to 1. d4. Almost imediately I found that I was winning much faster. A 60 move win with 1. c4 became a 40 move win with 1. d4. That was important to me because I was a tournament player.

I actually would recommend the anglo Scandinavian it completely destroys the idea of c4 inless they turn it into a queens gambit which is the best move so now you just got yourself into playing the queens gambit
