Sound? I can't see it ever being used at master level, but below that should be fine. A lot more sound than many common gambits, at least.

Ok, honestly. I tried this opening twice on the same person who is as strong as me. The first time it wrecked havoc and ended with me winning. The second time...don't...he killed me...
My conclusion is that this is a great opening if the opponent
1. not that good
2. he has never seen it before
If the opponent has seen it before and he is anywhere above a 1300...you are dead.
Edit: IF he is anywhere near your skill level and has seen it before, you are dead.
..so its still fine against the majority of the world
But not usable in the actual competitive world. Normal not competitive, yes.
Anyone above a 1600...and is about your rating...DEFINITLY DON'T PULL THIS OPENING!

True, but I was just guessing. This opening though should be used once. IF someone has seen this opening before, well you have a problem.
This is the situation the 2nd time around:
it still works but it doesnt get the piece, instead white gets a space advantage and possible attack chances and black has to make the most of his Xtra tempo to equalize
