What is the source of Daily chess puzzles and from where are they selected because a lot of time the daily chess puzzles seem extremely idiotic and take lot more time to solve even if the check mate is visible in few steps.

Some are suggested by members, some are pulled from the puzzle database. I think the staff member that chooses them may also pull from other resources.
