The definition changes over the Years. There was a time when any time control faster than 2 minutes a move was not considered Real Chess.

I would say computer chess is the best. Set up the board, get the feel of the pieces, write down your moves and study your games. Then continue to up the strength of the computer until you can play a human OTB.
This is real chess.
