Playing a game against the computer on Mac OSX Leopard on a MacBook Pro 2.2GHz Intel Core Duo with 2GB of RAM is terribly slow.
After white's 4th move (so black, the pc, is on turn) black's turn starts taking a very long time. It takes up to several minutes per move. This is unplayable.
Any idea how to solve this?
Damn, I think Deep Shredder should be a good application, but there is no decent documentation to be found anywhere on the application (the inculded manual is TERRIBLY limited). I also start having the feeling that the mac version is stripped op many many options. For example: how to envoke the material difference? It seems not to be here.
