Defence against Grand prix attack

Grand Prix attack which begins with 1.e4 c5 2. f4 is certainly one of the most annoying anti-Sicilian system. But what is the proper way for black to defend against it ?

Just kidding. I don't think the Grand Prix is considered a great opening.  Though I think what you have posted is called the McDonnell Attack.  And there are many threads here dealing with it.  2. ... d5 is frequently recommended as I recall.
