Didn't Notice Mate

One of the rare times I played a move and didn't realize it's mate until after the game ended.

one time I swindled someone by setting up a trap. they did a natural move, and captured with the wrong piece, then I had a knight, bishop and rook checkmate

I’ve lost count of the surprising checkmates. In 3 0, it happens more than I care to admit.
