I'm not familiar with CAPS but as has been explained many times before Elo's system is strictly intended to predict results within a pool. It is a relative system ... within a pool. I think you don't understand what Elo is.

Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I've been wondering what the difference is in terms of "quality" between standard, rapid and blitz times.
Let me explain better, what score would Carlsen (2900 blitz) if he played a standard TC game but with the same quality of how he plays a blitz?
I'm not saying to clash against others with less time available, because in time odds while the weaker player has the move the strongest player can analyze.
The ideal would be to return to CAPS, but I did not find a table that converts CAPS into elo at different times than the standard.
Has anyone done careful studies on this? Also, is it possible to download a program that analyzes many games and spits out a player's CAPS?
I realize that probably there will not be a difference in the same elo for everyone in the different TCs, but I would like to have an idea.
