Differences between Blitz, Rapid and Bullet

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but what are the general differences in the categorization of Blitz vs. Rapid vs. Bullet?

I'm just looking for the most general description...Thanks

Bullet is anything below 2+1 I believe. Rapid is anything above 10+0 and blitz is anything in the middle.

Increment can make it a bit more tricky but they're usually pretty good rules of thumb I find.

bullet is under 3 mins

blitz is 10 mins and under

rapid is anything else... at least on this site.
