Different play styles of rating levels

I stopped playing for a few months and after I started again my blitz fell from 1800-1500. Had a really hard time getting out of that 1500 range but once I hit 1600 getting back was fairly simple.

Got me thinking about how people play differently depending on their rating e.g if a lot of people around 17-1800 play Sicilian then I’ve gotten a bit used to that opening so I can find it easier to play then other openings or how sometimes if I go for something silly like the scholar’s mate people in 14-1500 range are maybe more used to seeing that so they respond better than people a bit higher rated.

Anyone noticed these differences in style of play based on rating?
