Help!!! I must have accidentally pressed the wrong button and now the display of chess.com is totally messed up. The background I have is now totally dominant in some screens, including this Forum screen where the actual panel for entering posts is clear but all else, including posts, is hard to read because of the background. In other screens, such as the chess.com home page, the text is almost illegible because there is a black effect that is dominating.
It is a couple of years since I installed my background (wallpaper) and I can't remember how to get into it and alter it.
Since initially submitting this post I have received a notification on the chess.com home page saying that I am using an outdated browser and recommening 4 that I could use, including IE8. In fact I have, for many months, been using IE9. Is this the source of my problem. What's going on?????
