Do I need anything over and above Stockfish for ICCF?

Unless you have multiple machines to run on, you would just be restricting the depth the one bot could search. That doesn't make much sense to me.

well i have a few software. in chessbase i use infinite analysis in aquarium i use IDeA(Interactive Deep Analysis)

Aquarium deep analysis is better. Used by GMs

@bong711, I have a few questions about that. Do you know how to use it. I can't figure out what is the meaning of root node, calcualte all positions, current positions etc.

I used Fritz GUI few years ago and expert in it. Review of aquarium is very good. For correspondence, aquarium is best. currently using only smartphone and Droidfish.

closest Fritz function is deep position analysis

i also have fritz. getting nowhere trying to figure out aquarium.

The difference between top engines in correspondence controls is minimal and the choice is matter of taste.Stockfish is completely fine choice.If you need second engine komodo and houdini are the main choices.My second engine is komodo but use it only for double checking.
