Do people have too many games in progress

How many games does it take to be overwhelmed.  I saw a person with over 2000 and unlike other people they don't take vacations to manage the games.  Any thoughts?

It all depends on how long you're willing to spend on the site.

People with 2000 games don't play all their moves on the same day- with 3 day time limits, they can get away with about 700 moves a day. But if you don't have the time to come online and play 700 moves, then obviously you would be overwhelmed by this many games.

I prefer an opponent with many games. They have to play lots of moves and can get confused by that (I think....).

For me ten games at the same time is ok, but at the moment I have 17 games. I like to have a good thought before I move.

If we're talking about how many we limit ourselves to, the highest I've been to is about 40 games. I try to keep it around 20, but the ECO challenge might raise this a little bit higher. Also, I try not to register for too many tournaments at once in case I get a suddent influx of games.

there should be no vacation time for players with too many games...its unfair for the opponents

After necroing two 6 years old threads about the topic you unearth a 7 years old thread ?

Do you consider this type of trolling to be original ?
